The Idea

BEHOLD will pose the large human questions regarding the nature of evil, human nature, God’s place in an immoral world, the direction of history, and how we find hope in the face of genocide. BEHOLD will call upon viewers to turn to poetry to help rediscover a vision of a just humanity.

The Specifics

BEHOLD will be an artistically innovative film marrying the power of cinema and the spoken word to give each poem its own unique form and style. With an open ended look and feel it will draw the viewer in to engage with the interactive energy of each piece. This feast of language will be presented using sensitive performances by a renowned list of international actors and poets, accompanied by dynamic, imaginative cinematic interpretations, evocative music, and sound design. BEHOLD will be an adventurous film designed to extend visual, spoken, and written poetic language to the online generation. For world-wide TV, museums, net audiences.
